Start your running journey with Enfield Chasers Running Club
Embark on a 10-week journey from zero to 5km, guided by run leaders and experienced runners. With 3 runs per week, including a group session, and 2 additional runs for you to complete in your own time, you'll gradually build your running stamina and become part of a vibrant community of local individuals on a similar journey.
Stay on track with weekly run details and group session updates sent directly to you.
All participants of our Couch to 5K program will receive an exclusive Enfield Chasers Running Club t-shirt (worth £32.00), symbolising your journey from couch to runner.
Group sessions are every Wednesday from 7:15pm meeting at the Cricketers Pub, Chase Side place. Additional group sessions can be organised by members within the WhatsApp group.

Beginner-Friendly
No running experience? No problem! Couch to 5km is designed for absolute beginners, ensuring a comfortable and gradual progression.

“I was feeling lost with my own running journey when I heard about the Chasers C25K. I had recently starting running and with the absence of structure or any real goals I had hit a plateau.
Naturally, I was a little apprehensive on my first run with the group but I needn’t have been. The Chasers are a friendly, inclusive group who ensure no one is ever left behind.
The plan itself is easy to follow and the goals achievable. In addition to the weekly runs the WhatsApp group is a nice touch, allowing the group to come together and share experiences of the week on the program and gain advice from experienced coaches where needed. Continuing to run weekly, I don’t think I would be doing so without the strong foundations that this program set for me.”
“Signing up to the Chaser’s C25k is the best thing I’ve done for myself in a long time. I was very committed to couch when I started but with the support of the run leaders and Chasers community I completed the programme and am still running now, 6 months on.
