Events

We value both competitive racing and socialising and offer a diverse range of events to suit every runner's interests. Our calendar is jam-packed with exciting road races that will put your speed to the test or if you prefer the thrill of nature, our cross country events will challenge you through trails.

But it's not just about the races! We understand the importance of building connections, so we also organise regular club social events, where members can unwind, share running tales, and forge lasting friendships.

In order to represent Enfield Chasers in any official race, you’ll need to join the club and become a recognised athlete with England Athletics.

Hash Run

What is a hash run? It comprises a marked trail that includes loops, dead ends, and other similar features to ensure that the fast runners cover significantly more distance than the slower people, because they have to run all of these false trails in order to find the true trail. Expect the run to last about an hour, covering 5k for the slowest runners, and up to 9k for the faster ones.

Trail shoes are recommended, head torch is mandatory (we’ll bring spares).
