About us

Enfield Chasers Running Club is committed to fostering a thriving and inclusive running community in the Enfield Chase area.

Our objective is to promote an active and healthy lifestyle, build strong community relationships, and provide a supportive environment for runners of all levels.

We aim to inspire individuals to embrace running as a means of personal growth, physical well-being, and community engagement. Through organised activities, events, and partnerships with local businesses, our goal is to create a dynamic and welcoming space where members can achieve their running goals, forge meaningful connections, and contribute to the vibrancy of the Enfield Chase community.

Our Ethos

At Enfield Chasers, our ethos is centered around four core principles that guide our actions and shape our club's culture:

  • Inclusivity

We believe in creating a running community that welcomes individuals of all backgrounds, abilities, and experience levels. We celebrate diversity and ensure that everyone feels valued, respected, and supported.

  • Support

We foster a supportive environment where members encourage and uplift one another. Whether it's cheering on a fellow runner during a race or offering words of encouragement during a challenging training session, we believe in the power of support to help each member reach their full potential.

  • Community engagement

We actively seek opportunities to engage with, and contribute to, the local Enfield Chase community. We collaborate with local businesses, organisations, and charities to promote community well-being, organise events, and give back through volunteering and fundraising initiatives.

  • Fun and enjoyment

Running is not just about achieving personal goals—it's also about having fun and enjoying the journey. We strive to create a positive and lighthearted atmosphere where members can share their love for running, forge friendships, and create lasting memories.

Enfield Chasers Running Club is proudly set up as an unincorporated association, driven by our passion for running and fostering community connections. Our primary aim is not to generate profit but to promote a healthy, active lifestyle and create a welcoming environment for everyone.

Members of the committee have generously contributed funds to get things started, and any "surplus" down the line will be reinvested back into the club, ensuring that our members benefit the most.

Your support and enthusiasm help us create a club that truly belongs to each one of you.
