Conditions Of Entry

Race Rules

  1. Eligibility

    The race is open to all runners aged 17 and over on race day.

    Runners participate at their own risk and must be in good health and physically prepared for cross country terrain.

  2. Timing & Results

    This event is not chip-timed. Manual timing and/or finish tokens may be used.

    Provisional results will be shared via email or published on our website/social media shortly after the event.

  3. Course & Safety

    The course will be clearly marked and marshalled.

    The terrain includes grass, woodland trails, uneven surfaces and may be muddy or slippery – trail shoes are strongly recommended.

    Headphones or other audio devices are not permitted for safety reasons.

    Participants must follow the instructions of marshals and officials at all times.

  4. Race Numbers

    Race numbers must be worn visibly on the front of your vest/shirt.

    Numbers must not be folded or altered.

  5. Conduct

    Respect fellow runners, marshals, spectators, and the local environment.

    Littering on the course is strictly prohibited.

General Terms & Conditions

  1. Entry

    Entry is non-transferable and non-refundable.

    By entering, participants agree to abide by the race rules and T&Cs outlined here.

  2. Medical Disclosure

    Entrants must inform organisers of any relevant medical conditions on the entry form.

    Basic first aid will be available on site. In the event of serious injury, emergency services will be called.

  3. Photography

    Photographs and videos may be taken during the event for promotional use by Enfield Chasers Running Club.

    By participating, you consent to being included in event media unless you notify us otherwise.

  4. Liability

    Enfield Chasers accepts no responsibility for personal injury, damage, or loss of property during the event, except where caused by negligence.

    Participants take part entirely at their own risk.

  5. Anti-Doping

    All participants (including athletes and athlete support personnel) in any licensed event are bound to UK Athletics’ anti-doping rules and must make themselves familiar with these rules. Organisers of licensed events are expected to cooperate with UK Anti-Doping with regards to any code-compliant anti-doping investigations and proceedings linked to their event or participants in their event, and to include the following statement regarding anti-doping compliance, provided by UKAD, within their event registration process:

    “An entrant shall be deemed to have made himself/herself/themself, familiar with, and agreed to be bound by the UKA Anti-Doping Rules and to submit to the authority of UK Anti-Doping in the application and enforcement of the Anti-Doping Rules. The UKA Anti-Doping Rules apply to entrants participating in the sport of Athletics, for 12 months from the date of entering the event, whether or not the participant is a citizen of, or resident in, the UK.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

  1. Refunds

    Entry fees are non-refundable under any circumstances, including illness, injury, or change of plans.

  2. Event Cancellation

    If the event is cancelled due to weather, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances, participants will be notified via email as soon as possible.

    In the event of cancellation, refunds will not be issued. Where feasible, efforts may be made to reschedule the event.
